We originally commissioned Mindful designs to create some storage cupboards in our hallway and we were so pleased with the results we have since had two more items made for our home by them - a vanity unit in the bathroom after we accidentally smashed our sink and an open shelving unit across the entire wall of our bedroom! We live in a small house so space is limited and we were struggling to find ‘off the shelf’ items that would fit the spaces. Having bespoke made items was a no-brainer and the quality speaks volumes - no more flimsy cupboards you have to build yourself! We now have nifty storage spaces & beautiful craftsmanship all in one! Justine was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, her ethos and commitment to sustainability truly won us over. She listened to our needs to create beautiful unique items that are constantly complimented on whenever we have visitors. Heartfelt thanks to Justine at Mindful Design. From the moment we met and gave her our vision for the kitchen of our dreams, she planned and designed the perfect space for eating and entertaining in our new build Passivhaus in Cheltenham. The care and thought she put into maximising the limited space we had through her design flare and attention to detail means she has produced an amazing space within our open plan living area to cook whilst still socialising. The quality of the build and installation is amazing, we really couldn’t be happier. We then asked Justine to continue through the whole build. Bathroom, en-suite, utility room, fitted wardrobes and even a drop down bed in the spare bedroom/snug. It perfectly fits behind doors, you wouldn’t even know it was there! We had our utility cupboards designed and installed by Mindful Design and it's been a great service from start to finish. It's a compact room and Justine made sure we could make the most of it with the bespoke cabinets fitting in nicely in the room so that we can maximise storage. Mum has a lot of extra needs due to her recent stroke and I was struck by Justine's patience and care in ensuring that Mum got exactly what she wanted even though communications are difficult for her. She made the consultations short so as not to tax Mum too much, and she gave Mum plenty of time to reply and make choices. Justine was very willing to adapt designs and added in some nifty aids so that Mum can access as much space as possible given her restricted mobility and stature. The kitchen, bathrooms and wardrobes are stunning, it is lovely to see Mum enjoying the space and being able to use the kitchen and bathrooms with ease.

Justine was very cognitive of doing it all properly. She got everything lined up and considered everything. It is everything I wanted, I've got it all now and it's perfect. The kitchen is laid out beautifully. The kitchen is the making of this place, it is right at the heart of the house.
