Our story
MINDFUL DESIGN
From a young age I fondly remember trips to art galleries and theatres with my Aunties and being drawn in by the colours and the fulfilment I felt being immersed in these vibrant and thought provoking environments.
Growing up in the Wye Valley landscape, galleries were few and far between but the beauty of nature was always close by.
Childhood loves combined with self building a passivhaus family home with my husband and two young daughters, a strong desire to continue the journey began. Whilst studying for a degree in Interior Design, Mindful Design Kitchens and Furniture was realised.
Mindful Design is centered around design that is sustainable, durable and striking. Designs that can evolve and change rather than be destroyed and wasted. Being mindful of the environment when designing and crafting furniture doesn’t mean that style and aesthetics has to be compromised. Thoughtfully functional and eye catching.
I feel strongly about committing to environmentally responsible practices and the impact we have on resources. I have partnered with Ecologi to plant 100 trees for every kitchen made. By choosing Mindful Design our clients are choosing a company whose values align with their own, fostering a sense of integrity and authenticity in their choices.
